Two sadhus were murdered at a temple in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr on Monday night, allegedly by a man they had accused of theft recently. The incident comes days after two sadhus and their driver were killed in an attack in Maharashtra's Palghar. Now the Shiv Sena has said they will refrain from communalising the murders of the two UP sadhus.

Delhi Radio Jockey Arrested After Man He Hit With His Car Dies

A 35-year-old radio jockey was arrested today for allegedly killing a man by hitting his scooter with his car, the police said. Ankit Gulati, who works at a private radio station, had rammed his SUV into a scooter near the Le Meridian Hotel in Delhi on June 30. The man on the scooter died a week later police said.

Amethi BJP Worker, Who Campaigned For Smriti Irani, Shot Dead

A former village head in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi, who worked closely with BJP leader Smriti Irani during her Lok Sabha campaign, was allegedly shot dead on Saturday night. Surendra Singh, a BJP worker, was attacked at his home; he died later at a hospital in Lucknow where he was taken for treatment, said police. The motive of the crime is not yet clear. "He was shot around 3 am. We've taken a few suspects into custody and the probe is on. It can be due to an old dispute or a political dispute," Amethi Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar said.
