Protests weaken U.S. sway over next Iraqi govt

Washington hoped to influence the next Iraqi government, still subject to political haggling four months after an inconclusive election. But protests have pretty much scuppered that attempt, and Haidar al-Abadi's hopes for a second term as premier. Reuters' Raya Jalabi reports.
