Thousands of people lost their jobs and their homes in the global financial crisis that followed the collapse of U.S. bank Lehman Brothers. Spain was one of the worst-hit countries with its banks needing billions of euros of state bailout funds to keep them afloat. As Sonia Legg reports, many ordinary workers were forced to seek jobs abroad.
