Xi visits Manila as Duterte pressed to take tougher line

Two years after Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte announced a divorce with the United States in return for bumper business ties with China, he doesn’t have much to show for it. But with Chinese President Xi Jinping visiting the country this week, Duterte's hoping that might change.
